Farah Khan is a Lahore-based contemporary visual practitioner, currently working as an Assistant Professor of Visual Arts at the Institute of Design and Visual Arts, Lahore College for Women University, Lahore. She completed her PhD in Fine Arts (Studio Practice) at the same institution in 2023. She did her M.Phil in Fine Arts with a gold medal from LCWU and her M.A in Fine Arts with a gold medal from PUCAD. She has 3 Solo Shows in her account. Besides this she has participated in more than 50 group shows nationally and internationally. The visual metaphors used in this series of works refer to dialogue with the ‘Inner Self’. It embraces the quest for soul-searching by fabricating repetitive visual elements in a serene environment. This reinforcement of being unveils new dimensions in the course of seeking self-realization which is celebrated by highlighting elements extracted from nature.
