Hadia Rizwan (b. 2002) is a Pakistani visual artist born in Gujrat, where she is currently based. She completed her BS Fine Arts in 2025 from the University of Gujrat with distinction. Her artistic practice centers on human emotions and expressive portraiture, with a particular focus on realism, psychological depth, and the silent emotions carried through facial expressions. Working primarily in oil paints, Hadia uses layering and detailed brushwork to create emotionally engaging portraits that explore vulnerability, introspection, and human connection. Her work is inspired by everyday emotional experiences and aims to capture feelings that often remain unspoken. By often using minimal or white backgrounds, she directs the viewer’s attention entirely toward the emotional presence of the subject. Hadia has actively participated in several notable exhibitions, including the Arjumand Painting Award, exhibitions at Gallery 21, VM Art Gallery, Numaish Gah, and Gallery 6.
