This exhibition serves as my exploration of the relationship between faith and art within my religious community. Reflecting on my experiences, I realized the importance of engaging with my beliefs rather than merely critiquing them. With a commitment to image-making, I plan to produce an annual exhibition that honors my belief system and fosters dialogue about our shared spirituality. Titled “My First Submission,” this showcase marks the beginning of my journey to explore and reinterpret visually the religious concepts. I hope it contributes meaningfully to my community and deepens my understanding of the divine.
