Aumama is a Karachi-based fine artist who is currently works as a corporate lecturer at Jinnah University for Women, Karachi. She specializes in oil painting and also works in charcoal and oil mediums. Her interests lie in realism. Her exhibitions include the 19th Emerging Talent at VM Art Gallery (January 2024), The Grand Art Fest at Port Grand Karachi (February 2024), and Repairing Reminiscences by Vasl (June 2024). In November 2022, She worked on the first chapter of a book called “Manachi: These Kingdoms Never Slept” with Our Shared Culture and Heritage Heritage (an international collaboration of State bank Pakistan between young people in Karachi and Manchester), also her work was showcased at Sambara Art Gallery. Aumama volunteered at a Crescent Art Gallery workshop at Frere Hall (August 2023) and she worked as a 3D scanning assistant with Austrian artist Herwig Scherabon for the Karachi Biennale in 2022.
She donated artwork for flood relief to the Kiran Foundation’s Dareechay exhibition at Koel Gallery. Her group exhibitions include Artone62 Gallery in July 2021 and May 2023. Winning a portraiture prize in an art competition at the Provisional Sindh Assembly (January 2022), she also painted a mural for the Pakistan Centre of Autism (April 2023).
