Casim Mahmood is a self-taught contemporary metal sculptor based in Lahore. He has a distinct inimitable style that has been created through years of toil. The welding together of small strips of scrap metal which sometimes leaves him with scars and burns to create a singular vision is Casim’s unique gift. His trajectory in visual arts, design, and music has allowed him to find expressions, moments, and rhythms to create colorful portraits that equally explore the deeper meaning of life. His work is sensitive to life and its inequalities. Casim has participated in lots of art exhibitions around the country including his multiple solo shows. Casim also is a self-taught blues guitarist and has a jazz/ blues band. He is a prolific
film producer as well as various high-profile projects in the works.
