Saba Naz

Sabaa Naz, an emerging force in contemporary visual arts, has carved out a distinguished place for herself in the Pakistani art scene. A graduate of Lahore College for Women University in 2015, Naz furthered her academic pursuit in the visual arts by earning an M.A. (Hons) from the National College of Arts in 2020. Her educational background laid a robust foundation for her artistic practice, which integrates both painting and sculpture. Since her graduation, Naz has been an active participant in the local art community, exhibiting her work in several group shows. Her commitment to her craft is particularly evident in her consistent involvement in the Young Artist Exhibition at the Alhamra Art Centre, where she has been a regular exhibitor for the past seven years. This ongoing engagement underscores her dedication to both her personal artistic development and the broader art discourse in the region. Naz’s expertise extends beyond the confines of the gallery. She has been a featured art trainer- er on various morning television shows, where she has imparted her knowledge and passion for art to a wider audience. This role highlights her versatility and her commitment to promoting art education and appreciation. Her current artistic endeavors explore profound themes of human behavior and duality. Naz is deeply interested in how duality permeates human existence and reflects contemporary life’s increasingly harsh realities. Through her work, she probes the complexities of human nature, seeking to illuminate the often contradictory aspects of the self and society.
